Thanks so much for my early birthday present. I am really excited to have one of these new Bluetooth Keyboards. It's really cool. Chris, our guitarist should is going to be relieved considering what happened to him during last year's tour. He still can't watch the video we made during that gig. It was pretty nasty to see a guy break his leg in two places because the keyboardist's wire.
It was probably Chris that told you about Bluetooth Keyboards in the first place, wasn't it?
Anyways, I think my music productivity is going to go through the roof now. You know how writer's get writer's block. Well, when I'm writing music in my studio (my living room) I get kind of the same thing; I guess you could call it musician's block. I usually just call it 'no hit wonder brain'. The best way for me to combat it is going for a walk outside or just pace around the living room. My roommate thought I'm crazy. He'd come home from work and I'd be pacing around the living room humming to myself with a disgruntled look on my face. It's pretty odd I suppose. But he would just walk around me and goes to his room. He wouldn't even look at me and he'd lock his bedroom door.
When I do get a thought I usually hum it to myself but before I'd get to my keyboard I'd forget the sequence. It was so aggravating.
Now, I can pace around my living room and other rooms without a cord attached to my laptop. (I am kind of partial to playing while on the toilet.) I still look odd to my roommate. When he comes home, I am dancing around in a single person conga line playing my Bluetooth Keyboard.
I've written three songs since I got the keyboard four days ago. I usually have trouble writing more two songs a week.
I remember reading in a magazine about my favorite band and they said sometimes it all comes together. You play shows and write new music and eventually it all comes together and you get a big record deal. This could be the catalyst to us getting a record deal. If it is, after I buy myself some bling, a new Camaro and a pool, I'm buying you a house. I know, I know I'm really sweet.
Also, now that I have one of these new fangled Bluetooth Keyboards, I feel a little better about telling you why I had that black eye and broken nose last time I came to visit. I didn't slip on a banana peel, fall down some stairs into a pole face first. And no Jen didn't beat me up like you thought. It was because of my old wired keyboard.
We were rocking in Detroit. I mean rocking the crowd's face off. It was great. I had this huge solo and it was so awesome I couldn't hold it in and I tried to spin my keyboard around my neck. The cord got caught of Matt's drum kit and it didn't swing. Well, it did swing, but just into my face.
I was so embarrassed and the worst part was we didn't get paid because I bleed on the floors on my way to the bathroom. Someone slipped on my blood and practically had a conniption fit. The owner didn't pay us but did pay the girl that fell in my blood so she wouldn't report the rock hall.
I had to work as a day laborer for week because that gig was supposed to pay for rent. That wasn't the best week I've had. Let see, I got lice and vomit all over me because for two days I picked up second hand cloths. Jen's mom saw me shoveling donkey and goat feces at the petting zoo. She made Jen to break up with me. I got bite by a Doberman Pincer, twice, while I was painting some guy's garage. You remember that, right?
You had to wire me money for the doctor to give me nine stitches and then again because I went back to the petting zoo and my wounds got infected because of the feces. Yeah, that was not my favorite week.
The band has a burial planned for my non-Bluetooth Keyboard. I thought about selling it to a friend or giving it away but I can't let anyone have this cursed instrument. So our plan is to bury it next to Mr. Pickles , that cat that was strangled with the cord to the keyboard. This thing really is cursed.
Anyways, I just wanted to thank you so much. Maybe, now with this new keyboard, Chris will stop having those nightmares. Things are looking up for me now too. Maybe, Jen will come back. My nose is going to still be crooked but now I am not too embarrassed to tell people why. I am a new man. Who knows? Maybe, I can be president some day. The president of rock. And it's all because of you and Bluetooth Keyboards.
